for our annual Robert Clegg Awards!
The late Robert Clegg OBE was devoted to our Hospice, and had been since day one. He was part of the original fundraising group set up by Margaret Geoghegan MBE, our late President, to raise funds to build a Hospice for Rochdale. Robert recognised that our staff and volunteers are at the heart of the Hospice and knew so many of them personally.
In 2023 we launched our annual awards, named in his honour with prizes sponsored by his family, to recognise the outstanding contribution of Hospice staff and volunteers.
Once again, for 2025 there will be three awards:
Awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution that goes above and beyond their job description to support the Hospice to deliver its objectives and values, and has given a level of service that consistently exceeds expectations in bringing about change and clear benefits for the Hospice as a whole.
