Bereavement Service
We offer our bereavement service to
people over the age of 18 who are
experiencing difficulty in their grieving
process and who have been bereaved
by the loss of someone with a diagnosed
life-limiting illness.
This service aims to raise the profile of Dementia and recognise it as a palliative disease. Out various groups provide support to patients with a dementia diagnosis and those important to them.
The Service delivers an integrated multidisciplinary community based specialist service providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care for patients
Here at Springhill Hospice, we offer complementary therapies as part of our supportive care service.
We believe that the therapies we offer can create a therapeutic space and promote a sense of wellbeing for our patients.
Our Nursing Team consists of experienced Hospice Nurses that visit patients who are in their last days of life; providing a flexible and responsive nursing service in the patient’s own home.
Adult patients with a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness can be admitted to the In-Patient Unit for Symptom Management, End of Life Care or Crisis Intervention.
Self-management strategies can help you to
take control of your symptoms and enable you to develop new skills to manage the impact of your condition on your life and that of your family.
By becoming a member of our Business Buddies scheme today you will be helping
Springhill Hospice to provide a high standard of care to the people in our local
community, at the time and place they most need it
