Springhill Hospice is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain supported by Local Hospice Lottery. Local Hospice Lottery will give between 60% and 80% of profits from individuals playing in support of Springhill Hospice to Springhill Hospice. This is expected to be at least £1,700,000 over five years from November 2023. To help to recruit players, a team of paid fundraisers will be working in the local area both door-to-door and at venues. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card with them. In an effort to recruit players and grow the amount of income we can raise for hospice care, Local Hospice Lottery have a team of paid fundraisers working across the borough, Monday – Sunday.
Working door-to-door and at venues, these paid fundraisers offer you the opportunity to sign up to play the Lottery on a regular basis, should you wish to do so. As this process requires you to provide your banking details, we understand that you may feel apprehensive and wish to check the fundraiser’s identity and reassure yourself that they are genuine.
Every Local Hospice Lottery fundraiser will be wearing branded uniform and carry a plastic photo identity card which can be checked against the pictures below.
