Our Nurses are specially trained in palliative care and are able to give both emotional and practical advice.
The Advice Line is also available for healthcare professionals involved in your care and to partners, friends, carers and relatives who may also be involved in your care.
Anticipatory Care
Any healthcare professional involved in your care can register you at the Hospice, or you can self-refer by ringing our Advice Line.
This will enable the service to hold specific information about you, which may be of use to the nurse taking the call. This information can also be used by out-of-hours doctors and district nurses who may need to visit you.
All patient information is secure and confidential. If needed, the information may be shared with other professionals involved in your care.
