For 2026 we are bringing back our Sea of Sunflowers

Remember your loved one this Easter by dedicating one of our radiant Sunflowers to them.

For a donation of £20 or over, we will add one of our special artisan metal Sunflowers to the Sea of Sunflowers in the Hospice grounds. Your loved one doesn't need to have been cared for by Springhill, everyone is welcome to remember someone special to them.

Your Sunflower will be in full bloom at our Nurses' Easter Eggstravaganza on Monday 6th April (Easter Monday); a family friendly event which is free for anyone to attend.

If you have made a dedication and donated over £20, you will be asked if you wish to take a Sunflower home at the end of the day to keep. These are weather-proof so can be placed outside or inside in a flower pot or vase: wherever you would best like to keep your memento in honour of your loved one.

Don’t worry if you can’t make the event, you can collect at a time to suit you throughout April.

Last year those who dedicated a flower to their loved ones helped Springhill to make a positive difference to 2,294 people whose lives were touched by the specialist care we provided in 2025. 

This year, we would love to help even more people in need of palliative care and their loved ones and your donation in honour of your loved one could make that difference. Remember, £20 is our minimum donation amount, but anything above that that you can give will go straight back into funding Springhill Hospice.
