I had many a conversation with Frank over the years about sport in general and specifically football, the (in Fergie´s time anyway) successes of his beloved Man U and the trials and tribulations of my Birmingham City. One day I guess about 2004 / 5 he stayed at my house and we went to watch the Blues v Man U at St Andrews. Allow me to skip over the result which I think was 0-6. However he was great company always and will be greatly missed. The real Esteeeeemed colleague.
CloseEsteeeeeeemed colleague....ha ha this was Franks signature greeting. Frank and I joined Expeditors about the same time (22 years ago) when Frank was in charge of transition we travelled a lot together to many locations, always had a story to tell and always happy with life and everything. Only recently we shared some messages and he told me he was already thinking about his next trip, I will miss Frank and his 'Happy Birthday' message, never missed a year, my birthday is the day before Franks. RIP my friend.
CloseFrank was a character. I will always remember my visits to the MAN branch with the chats Frank and I had. Talked about many things and one thing in particular, our love for Music. Ive loved keeping upto date with the gigs and tours he has been to since he retired. Sorry to say I wont be able to drop him a message from time to time and find out whats coming up next. Rest easy pal.
CloseIt was a pleasure to have known and worked with Frank over the years. I'll remember him as a true gentleman with incredible warmth, an intelligent wit and a suuuuuuperb sense of humour. On the more challenging days at work, he'd bring smiles to our corner of the office by raising his arms in the air and adapting football chants to suit his love of logistics: "We love you, shipping! We do! We love you, shipping! We do!" "Shipping!" *clap clap clap* "Shipping!" *clap clap clap* "Oh, shipping we love you!" Simply put, a wonderful guy who will be missed by many. Rest peacefully, esteemed colleague
