Verification of Expected Death

Theoretical training for experienced Band 6 and above Nurses to enable assessment and verification of an expected death. District Nursing Teams and Hospice Nurses must be qualified for at least 2 years.

You will:

• Develop the theoretical knowledge and practical skills around the verification of death procedure
• Raise your awareness of professional and legal considerations when verifying an expected death

There is a requirement for attendees to arrange a competent verifier to assess and sign off their practical competence.
