Christmas Tree Collection

Springhill’s Christmas Tree Collection Service is back, and the Hospice team will be out from Friday 9th January to Monday 12th January 2026 to collect trees across the borough of Rochdale.

Book between now and the 6th January and your tree will be collected from outside your property during the collection window of 9th-12th January by one of our volunteers.

From there your tree will be taken to the Hospice where it will be recycled and turned into chippings.  The chippings are then used for pathways and garden beds within the Hospice grounds.

We are asking for a minimum donation of £12 per tree, though you can donate more if you wish.

All funds directly fund palliative care through Springhill Hospice.

AREAS WE CAN COLLECT FROM ARE AS FOLLOWS ONLY:

OL10, OL11, OL12, OL14, OL15, OL16 and M24.
(please do not book if your address isoutsid off these postcodes as we will not be able to collect)

Please be aware that we cannot stipulate an exact date that your tree will be picked up. There are lots of factors that can affect the tree collection service (not least the great British weather!) 

You will need to leave your tree in an accessible place outside your property from 8am on Friday 9th January 2026.
