Can I or my family member qualify for your help?
Any local person with a life-limiting illness for which palliative care is the only available treatment is welcome at our Hospice.
Will I have to pay?
No, we provide all our services and support free of charge.
How do I access the service?
Your GP, Consultant or District Nurse can refer you or, alternatively, you can call us directly on 01706 649920.
Is there a maximum length of stay on the Ward/Inpatient Unit?
No two people are the same so the length of time people stay with us is dependent upon an individual’s circumstances.
The Inpatient Unit is a short-stay facility to enable us to provide our services for as many people as possible.
How is the Hospice funded?
The cost of running the Hospice is now in excess of £3 million per year which equates to over £8,000 per day.
Whilst some income comes from NHS contracts and grants, 70% of our running costs need to come from fundraising within the local community.
What is the best way to support Springhill Hospice?
We are grateful for everything our community does for us, whether its volunteering your time and skills, organising or attending a fundraising event, or leaving us a legacy in your will or making a donation.
