Remembering someone special
Donating or fundraising in someone's memory is a very special and meaningful way to remember them – honouring their life and helping others at the same time. We're always incredibly touched and grateful to receive these donations.
Donating in memory
As you make your donation, you can tell us the name of this special person and, if you’d like, you can tell us more about why you are donating.

Collect at a funeral or memorial event
Collecting donations at a funeral can help Springhill Hospice make a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking for donations instead of flowers. You could also hold a collection at a celebration of life service or memorial event.
We can provide donation envelopes, pin badges, cardboard collection boxes or larger collecting pots for use at funerals/memorials.
Please be aware of the restrictions on attendance at funerals due to the coronavirus. To help connect friends and family unable to attend the funeral, you may want to invite them to make a donation in memory of your loved one by creating a Remembering Someone Special page in their name. Often people use social media to let others know of the death, the funeral arrangements and how to make a donation. You can set up your Remembering Someone Special page by clicking here (Add link - https://www.justgiving.com/springhillhospice)
