‘Heartfelt’ Arts and Crafts Exhibition
Springhill Hospice are delighted to be launching their 2nd Arts & Crafts exhibition titled ‘Heartfelt’ following on the success of ‘The Art of the Place’ in 2012.
The ‘Heartfelt’ exhibition will show case over 100 exhibits of arts and crafts submitted by patients past and present. Each piece of work tells a special story of inspiration and courage along with fun and laughter. Many of the pieces will surprise and delight in their quality and detail, some are graphically emotional and clearly from the heart, others light hearted and uplifting.
This year we have a special display of the therapeutic art work patients have done in collaboration with local schools as well as exhibits from an Art Therapist working with patients to use drawings, art and colour to creatively express feelings where words are insufficient or just too hard to find.
There will be an Alice in Wonderland area with lots of colour and humour; we have an Acapello choir and roaming circus tricks to entertain you.
And of course the obligatory RAFFLE
Buying your ticket before the night will help us to plan for seating, drinks etc.
Tickets are limited but the exhibition will be available for a full week.
The exhibition will close with a coffee morning on Friday 9 October. Coffee, tea and cake will be served 10.00- 12.00 £3.50
