Go Green for May 2019 as part of our big 30th Birthday Celebrations

Get ready for 30 DAYS IN MAY with a special celebration day on Friday 31st May 2019.

We would love to invite you to take part in our Go Green campaign this year to celebrate Springhill Hospice’s 30th Anniversary year! Go Green 2019 brings you ‘30 Days in May’ with the 31st May being a celebration day at Springhill Hospice for all who have taken part.

Order your FREE Go Green fundraising pack, which gives you some ideas about how you could get involved this year. What we always say is – just theme it green and have fun! Whatever you decide to do it would be absolutely fantastic to have you taking part for our commemorative year. Go Green is one of our main fundraising events in the Springhill Hospice calendar when we invite everyone in the Borough to take on our colour GREEN to celebrate the work of Springhill Hospice. Everyone who takes part in Go Green, whatever they do, and whatever they give, makes a big and important difference to our patients and their families.

Choose your date
This year Go Green has grown! We are going green for the whole month from 1st to 30th May. Friday 31st May we would like to invite all our Go Green participants for a celebration at Springhill Hospice. We want to give everyone as much opportunity to take part as possible, but of course we want to fit in with your own priorities, so it really is about what works best for you.

Let us know what you’re doing
So that we can book you into our diary and make sure you have everything you need, please tell us your Go Green plans. You can sign up below,  email fundraising@springhill.org.uk  or contact our Fundraising Team on 01706 641790 (opt 1).

Order your Go Green resources
Request our Go Green resource sheets that are available to support your fundraising efforts. Just let us know what you need and we’ll get them to you in good time for your fundraising day or activities.

Invite us along on the day
We try to visit as many Go Green-ers as possible with Springy, our Mascot or visit afterwards to receive donations and to thank you. Springy is unique – please let us have your date early so we can do our best to be there.

Here are some ideas to get you started. Just theme it green and enjoy!

  1. Dress up or down – Wear Green for the Day – a popular one among students, friends and colleagues. Part of the fun is picking what to wear! How about a pyjama day – spend the day in pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers – everyone has their favourites to wear and it’s a fun way of supporting us whilst helping to raise money to help look after our patients.
  2. Change Box Challenge – Our great little fold up cardboard money boxes can be taken home or kept on your office desk to drop in any spare change throughout May. Let me know how many boxes you need and I’ll drop them off, we can collect them back from you too on our celebration day. Remember every penny counts!
  3. Springy’s Cake Bake – Homemade or shop bought the thought is the same. Set up a stall to sell them at break or lunch-time. Everyone enjoys a tasty treat and it’s a great way to raise funds. Don’t forget to order your 30 Springhill edible cake toppers from us, which look fab on cupcakes!Fundraise with your own unique ideas! However you can support Springhill, we know you will have an absolutely fantastic time taking part - just think green and have fun!
