Lovely to meet George Kean who called in to drop off some donations with his mum Joanne, who is a regular supporter of the Hospice. This lovely generous young man also wanted to donate the £80 he had been given for passing his GCSEs.
Having worked hard, and about to embark on studying four A Levels at College, there must be millions of things he could have bought with that money and we were just bowled over by his kindness.
He particularly wanted to say thank you for the great care that his two aunts and grandmother had all received during their time with Springhill.
George is a credit to his family and we are sure they are very proud of him. We wish him all the best for his future studies but it’s clear that this lovely young man will be sure to continue to make a good impression in the future.
