Following the success of their first Golf Day in 2016, Heywood based Logic Wealth Planning held their second Charity Golf Day in September raising money for Springhill Hospice.
Rossendale Golf Club was once again chosen as the venue and over 50 guests, friends and clients of the company gathered together to enjoy a game of golf, followed by a dinner and an awards presentation in the evening.
The Logic Team were delighted that so many valued friends, clients and guests signed up to support the event and conditions at Rossendale were excellent. Thanks to wonderful weather and perfect playing conditions, it was a really fantastic day and most importantly the event raised vital funds for Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.
As a result of everyone’s generosity, including a fantastic £1,000 donated by Barclays Bank, Logic Wealth have now presented Springhill Hospice with a cheque for £3,390.
Yianni Theodorou, Logic Wealth Planning’s Managing Director said, “It’s pleasing to know that by holding a really enjoyable day we also raised money for a cause which is close to our hearts. We would like to thank everyone for their wonderful generosity, including Martin Hirst from Barclays Bank. Springhill Hospice plays an important role in the community and my team are committed to fundraising wherever they can, to ensure that it can continue with its vital work. We were so delighted by the success of the day that we’re already planning our next Charity Golf Day in 2018!”
Sophie Ansley, Events & Corporate Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice said, “We are so very grateful to Yianni and colleagues at Logic Wealth for all their hard work and enthusiasm and to all those who supported the day with their incredible generosity. Seven out of every ten pounds that it costs to provide our services, free of charge, to those who need them, comes from community donations and so the wonderful support given by Logic Wealth is absolutely invaluable.”
